Nice outdoor watch, with a good brightness when used for outdoor activities (inside building, the brightness is not so clear as outside, but it is not designed for indoor) I am quite surprised by the accuracy of the altimeter (photos joined at two differents altitudes: 1650 & 1660, with a difference of 5 meters). I have used it during 3 day when hiking, at different altitudes, and the barometer is quite accurate, on 15 differents measurement, the difference between the altitude measured and the altitude displayed on the signs have an accuracy between 0-10 meter (only one time the altitude measured has a difference of 20 meters). It is important to set your current altitude on the watch before using it. You can check you current altitude using the android application named “GPS Test” (or another one) on your smartphone, and set the correct cuurent altitude on your watch. Very nice watch for hiking. This is one of the nicest watches found by me that offers discrete time. The Apache -46 is comfortable to wear, easy to navigate through, great backlight, and comfortable to wear. It’s not overly heavy or oversized. The band is a NATO style which feels good to wear and doesn’t add weight to the watch. For the price paid you get a good reliable watch. The cons are the directions that come in the package are small print and can be hard to follow. But once the watch is set, you have a great time piece on your wrist. Love the watch..
